Meet Stephanie Carnago
Founder of Primary Learners Academy
Stephanie Carnago is dedicated to cultivating a love for learning through high-quality tutoring. With a focus on personalized lessons for Kindergarten through 12th grade students, she uses an innovative approach that blends interactive instruction with engaging, hands-on and real world experiences.
An honors graduate of the University of Central Florida, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education along with endorsements in K–12 Reading and English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). Her journey in education spans over a decade, including time teaching English in Madrid, Spain, which broadened her global perspective and instructional style.
Back in her home state of Florida, she earned a Distinguished rating from the Florida Department of Education and was named a Daytona Beach News-Journal 40 Under Forty honoree for 2025, recognizing her leadership and impact in education.
As a former Ambassador for the Tampa Bay Lightning, she brings a unique understanding of youth engagement and the importance of community connection. Values that are deeply embedded in the learning experiences provided.
